Life Dental Care comes to Deerfield Beach offering cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics

       

Just a few months ago, Dr. Maria Toirac opened a new dental practice in Deerfield Beach. Located in the north-west corner shopping center at 123 N. Powerline Road, her spotless new office features state of the art equipment. Digital x-rays and fully computerized records visible to the patient chair side add even more accuracy to the services this dentist can render to patients. Toirac hopes to gradually merge her Miami practice into these new expanded facilities with five patients sites.          Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Toirac reveals perfect teeth as she smiles and begins to relate her unusual story. "I have actually become a dentist twice. I graduated from dental school in Cuba in 1989, came to the United States in 1996 and began all over again. First I worked as a dental assistant and hygienist. Next i attended dental school at the University of Florida and graduated in 2007. I could not have done this without the help of my husband, Ramiro who is my office manager and my two little daughters who cheered me on over the years it took for me to be able to practice dentistry here. I have taken special clinical training in dental implant technology, endodontics and full mouth reconstruction. While getting my second education and taking clinical training I managed to raise my family, and I am proud to say i became an American citizen"
         Her practice includes cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. " Of course we do general family dentistry as well as veneers, porcelain crowns and bridges, whitening and implants," she says. "To determine if a patient is a candidate for implants, we have digital x-rays and we ask potential implant patients to have a CT scan to be sure there is enough bone structure to support implants. We also do an implant procedure to support existing dentures. This is a very popular procedure with denture wearers because it eliminates slipping and the need for adhesives.
         Dr. Rodriguez brings orthodontics to the practice. In addition to providing braces for children, she has many adults patients who are investing in mouth corrections now that invisible braces are available. Invisalign are invisible and can be removed for eating challenges and cleaning so they have become another additon to the menu of cosmetic corrections available throught dentistry.

"This promotion has been very successful, "Dr. Toirac says, "We have acquired many new patients as a result. We also offer payment plan to those patients who qualify.
